Youth Riders Selected for Tesco Stronger Starts

We’re excited to share some fantastic news with our community—Youth Riders CIO has been selected for the Tesco Stronger Starts programme!

This means we’ve been given an incredible opportunity to secure funding that will directly support our work with young people across Ringwood, Verwood, and the surrounding areas.

What is Tesco Stronger Starts?

Tesco Stronger Starts is a community grant scheme that supports local organisations making a positive difference. If you’ve ever shopped in Tesco, you may have seen the voting token boxes near the exit—this is how customers help decide which local projects receive funding.

How You Can Help

From Tuesday 28th April until the end of July 2026, every time you shop in selected Tesco stores, you’ll receive a token at checkout.

All you need to do is:

• Take your token
• Pop it into the Youth Riders CIO voting slot

It’s that simple—and it makes a real difference.

Why Your Vote Matters

The amount of funding we receive depends on how many votes we get:

• 🥇 First place: £1,500
• 🥈 Second place: £1,000
• 🥉 Third place: £500

Every single token helps us continue delivering:

• Training opportunities
• Community events
• Fun and engaging activities for young people
